The statistics were sobering—many children in the area were going to bed on the floor, their dreams mingling with the discomfort of makeshift sleeping arrangements. The dealership’s management knew they had to do something to address this issue. So they teamed up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace. So, Lithia Subaru of Fresno launched their initiative, aiming to provide safe, comfortable beds to children in need. This wasn't just a charity drive; it was a community-wide effort that engaged employees, customers, and local organizations. The dealership transformed part of their service area into a workshop, where staff members, along with volunteers from the community, began building sturdy, high-quality beds. Each bed was crafted with care, ensuring that it wasn't just functional but also something the children would be excited about. The beds come with comfortable mattresses, sheets and comforters. The goal was not only to provide a place to sleep but also to offer a sense of joy and security. The impact of the initiative was profound.
